Nina Chen
Chair and Secretary
Nina Chen, the founder of multiple education services institutions in Australia, is a dynamic entrepreneur with a boundless passion for her work. With thousands of students benefiting from her institutions, Nina’s impact on education is profound. Her story is one of seizing opportunities and transforming communities, one country at a time.
Born in Guangxi Province, China, Nina’s journey is deeply rooted in education. Both her parents were teachers, and they aspired to move to Australia to provide better opportunities for their daughter. Her father, a music and PE teacher, moved to Sydney to find work and learn English, leaving Nina and her mother behind in China. For five years, he worked as a chef while studying. After the Tiananmen Square Massacre in 1989, Nina’s father was granted permanent residency in Australia, allowing Nina and her mother to join him.
Inspired by her parents’ sacrifices and driven by a passion to improve the lives of others, Nina established her first education institution while still pursuing her Bachelor of Business degree. Starting in a small 50sqm office in a less-than-ideal location, Nina’s dedication and vision transformed her venture into a thriving network of education services that now cater to thousands of students.
Nina’s commitment to helping the less fortunate extends beyond Australia. She is actively involved in ventures overseas, aiming to improve conditions in third-world countries. Her entrepreneurial spirit is matched by her humanitarian efforts, making a significant impact wherever she goes.
Nina is also a devoted mother to three young boys and a daughter. Despite her busy professional life, she finds time to indulge in her interests, including watching movies, playing board games, journaling, and enjoying table tennis.
Nina Chen’s story is a testament to the power of one individual’s vision and determination to create positive change. Her journey from a small office to multiple successful education institutions, along with her ongoing philanthropic efforts, showcases her unwavering commitment to making a difference in the world.
